Type specimen: UFP 43, 4.7 x 94.5, a microspore (Pollen grain). Its type locality is Pinalerita UFP 41, Llanos foothills, Colombia, which is in an Eocene fluvial-deltaic sandstone/mudstone in the Areniscas de el Limbo Formation of Colombia.
Distribution: found only at Pinalerita UFP 41, Llanos foothills, Colombia
