Sister taxa: Paraglaphyrus ovalis, Paraglaphyrus robustus, Paraglaphyrus subtilis
Type specimen: CNU-COL-LB2009664, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2009 collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2009 collection
