Type specimen: UFP 37, 5.2 x 85.6, a microspore (pollen grain). Its type locality is Pinalerita UFP 37, Llanos foothills, Colombia, which is in an Eocene fluvial-deltaic sandstone/siliciclastic in the Areniscas de el Limbo Formation of Colombia.

Distribution: found only at Pinalerita UFP 37, Llanos foothills, Colombia
