Type specimen: IVPP V14987, a tooth (Left M1). Its type locality is East of the Erenhot railway station, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Houldjin Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at East of the Erenhot railway station
