Sister taxa: Moremanoceras costatum, Moremanoceras elgini, Moremanoceras montanaense, Moremanoceras scotti, Moremanoceras straini

Type specimen: USNM 520148, a shell. Its type locality is Grayson Bluff, northeast of Roanoke, which is in a Cenomanian carbonate marl in the Grayson Marl Formation of Texas.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Grayson Bluff, northeast of Roanoke
