Type specimens:
- Polydolops serra: MACN 10341, a mandible (a fragment of a left mandibular ramus with P2 (double rooted) and P3 complete, and anterior edge of M1). Its type locality is Barranca south of Lago Colhue-Huapi, Gran Barranca, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
- Amphidolops serrifer: MACN 10359, a tooth (Isolated right M2). Its type locality is Barranca south of Lago Colhue-Huapi, Gran Barranca, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
- Anissodolops serrifer: MACN 10359, a tooth (Isolated right M2). Its type locality is Barranca south of Lago Colhue-Huapi, Gran Barranca, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
- Polydolops bocurhor: AMNH 28427, a maxilla (fragment of a right maxillary with M1-2). Its type locality is Cañadón Vaca, which is in a Lutetian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
