Type specimen: IVPP V10315, a maxilla. Its type locality is Ulantatal (UTL8), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial conglomerate/sandstone in the Ulantatal Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution:
• Oligocene of China (5 collections), Mongolia (2)
Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
