Type specimen: IAUU, no. ALT 49, a tooth (Right M2). Its type locality is Altynshokysu (bone bed II), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in the Aral Formation of Kazakhstan.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-insectivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of Kazakhstan (2 collections), Mongolia (4)
