Type specimen: IVPP V7961, a mandible. Its type locality is Yikebulage (IVPP Loc. 79017), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Yikebulage Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Yikebulage (IVPP Loc. 79017)
