Type specimen: AD 1791, a maxilla (fragment of maxilla with P3-M1 and alveolus for M2). Its type locality is Arrisdrift, which is in a Miocene channel sandstone in Namibia.

Ecology: scansorial carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Arrisdrift
