Type specimen: MPEF-PV 4460, a tooth (left M?2). Its type locality is La Cancha, which is in a Tinguirirican terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution: found only at La Cancha
