Type specimen: MPEF-PV 4368, a tooth (left m1). Its type locality is La Cancha, which is in a Tinguirirican terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at La Cancha
