Sister taxa: Hondonadia feruglioi, Hondonadia pittmanae, Hondonadia praecipitia, Hondonadia pumila, Pascualdelphys fierroensis

Type specimen: MPEF-PV 3823, a tooth (left M2). Its type locality is La Cantera, which is in a Rupelian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution: found only at La Cantera
