Type specimen: SGOPV 2941, a mandible (left mandibular ramus). Its type locality is Tinguiririca Locality Sets 1 & 2, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Abanico Formation of Chile.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution: found only at Tinguiririca Locality Sets 1 & 2
