Type specimen: LACMIP 12432, a shell. Its type locality is TU 1399. Roadcut on west side of Camarones, which is in a Pliocene deep-water shale in the Onzole Formation of Ecuador.
Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer
Distribution: found only at TU 1399. Roadcut on west side of Camarones
