Type specimen: SGOPV 2933, a mandible (right mandibular fragment with p4-m3 and incisor root). Its type locality is Tinguiririca Locality Sets 1 & 2, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Abanico Formation of Chile.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Tinguiririca Locality Sets 1 & 2
