Type specimen: MMP 1418, a partial skeleton (anterior portion of left maxilla (MMP 1418-1) with fragmentary teeth, posteromedial portion of left maxilla (1418-2) with teeth, proximal end of left pterygoid ). Its type locality is Estancia Pampa Grande, East of Route 9, between Bordo and Toro Rivers, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial mudstone/marl in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Estancia Pampa Grande, East of Route 9, between Bordo and Toro Rivers
