Type specimens:
- Hutchemys rememdium: YPM PU 16795, a skeleton. Its type locality is Medicine Rocks Site 1, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial sandstone in the Fort Union Formation of Montana.
- Plastomenoides lamberti: YPM (PU) 16795, a partial skeleton (plastron and carapace+limbs and girdle). Its type locality is Traweek Ranch, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial sandstone in the Fort Union Formation of Montana.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore

• Paleocene of United States (10: Montana, Utah, Wyoming collections)
