Type specimen: U. C. loc. 7015, no. 34208, a shell. Its type locality is UCMP 7015. Santa Susana, which is in a Thanetian coastal siliciclastic in the Santa Susana Formation of California.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at UCMP 7015. Santa Susana
