Type specimen: SW-2-001, a valve (dorsal internal mold). Its type locality is Shaiwa section, bed 48, which is in a Bithynian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone in the Xinyuan Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Shaiwa section, bed 48
