Sister taxa: Cyniscopoides broomi, Cyonosaurus kitchingi, Cyonosaurus longiceps, Nanogorgon gracilis
Type specimen: RC 74, a partial skull (Badly preserved skull with dentary)
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution:
• Permian of South Africa (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
