Type specimens:
- Anhuichelys tsienshanensis: AHM V 71079-3, a partial shell. Its type locality is Hanhuawu South (locality 71079), which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Doumu Formation of China.
- Anhuichelys xinzhouensis: RGSTHB V.H751, a partial skeleton (nearly complete carapace and plastron). Its type locality is Zhaigang, Jiujie, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-herbivore

• Paleocene of China (9 collections)
