Type specimen: RRBP 07161, a mandible. Its type locality is TZ-01S, which is in an Oligocene fluvial siliciclastic in the Nsungwe Formation of Tanzania.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at TZ-01S
