Early Miocene sediments in or near the Bugti

Hills, Baluchistan, Pakistan.

Belongs to Brontochelys according to E. S. Gaffney et al. 2011

Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: BMNH R.8570. Its type locality is Dera Bugti (general), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in Pakistan.

Distribution: found only at Dera Bugti (general)
