Sister taxon: Burmisotoma lamellifera
Type specimen: MCNA 12583, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Peñacerrada outcrop I, which is in an Albian terrestrial amber in the Escucha Formation of Spain.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Peñacerrada outcrop I
