Sister taxa: Choragus fictilis, Choragus tertiarius
Type specimen: PACO C-90, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
