Sister taxon: Honanodon macrodontus
Type specimen: IVPP V3110, a set of teeth. Its type locality is Jentsen, southern bank of Huangho, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Yuanchu Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of China (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
