Type specimen: UCMP 167422 (left frontal fragment). Its type locality is Castle Gardens, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial mudstone in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: insectivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Castle Gardens
