Type specimen: ULBRA-PVT280, a partial skeleton (Articulated skeleton including partial skull, few pre-sacral, three sacral, and 42 tail vertebrae, left scapula and forelimb lacking most of the manus, paired i). Its type locality is Buriol, which is in a Carnian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Maria Formation of Brazil.
