Type specimen: NHMUK PI MB 1206, a valve (left valve). Its type locality is LD-04, Lusitaniadalen, which is in a Griesbachian marine siltstone in the Vikingh√łgda Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal chemosymbiotic
