Type specimen: GMH XXXVII-198, a mandible (mandible with p1, m1-m3). Its type locality is Geiseltal, Mittelkohle, Zone III (Middlecoal, zone III), which is in a Lutetian lacustrine lignite in Germany.

Ecology: ground dwelling frugivore-omnivore

Distribution: found only at Geiseltal, Mittelkohle, Zone III (Middlecoal, zone III)
