Type specimen: Ef.151, a maxilla (Left maxilla with P3-M3). Its type locality is Egerkingen, Huppersand fissure, which is in a Bartonian fissure fill horizon in Switzerland.
Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser
Distribution:
• Eocene of France (3 collections), Switzerland (5)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
