Type specimen: CFEC-E-1, a footprint. Its type locality is Emei tracksite, Xingfu cliff, Chuanzhu, which is in a Barremian/Albian eolian mudstone/sandstone in the Jiaguan Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Emei tracksite, Xingfu cliff, Chuanzhu
