Belongs to Issiodoromys according to M. Vianey-Liaud and B. Schmid 2009
Sister taxa: Issiodoromys balmensis, Issiodoromys limognensis, Issiodoromys minor, Issiodoromys pauffiensis
Type specimen: PLA24, a mandible. Its type locality is La Plante 2, which is in a MP 22 terrestrial phosphorite in France.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution:
• Oligocene of France (19 collections), Switzerland (1)
Total: 20 collections each including a single occurrence
