Type specimen: IVAU BC 64 M2 sup. dext., a tooth. Its type locality is Bouldnor Cliff, Lower Hamstead Beds, Isle of Wight, which is in an Eocene foreshore claystone in the Lower Hamstead Beds Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Bouldnor Cliff, Lower Hamstead Beds, Isle of Wight
