Sister taxa: Cooleyella amazonensis, Cooleyella cuspidata, Cooleyella fordi, Cooleyella peculiaris, Cooleyella quadrilobata, Cooleyella quinqueloba, Cooleyella simplex, Cooleyella spatulata

Type specimen: NMMNH P-72245, a tooth. Its type locality is Rader slide, sample R1A, which is in a Capitanian slope limestone in the Bell Canyon Formation of Texas.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Permian of United States (4: Nevada, Texas collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
