Sister taxa: Miopsyche alexanderi, Miopsyche martynovi

Type specimen: St. Cloud State College B-136, a forewing. Its type locality is Ruby River, between Peterson and Morman Creeks, which is in a Whitneyan lacustrine shale in the Renova Formation of Montana.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Ruby River, between Peterson and Morman Creeks
