Type specimen: SM F10733, a shell. Its type locality is Locality 49, Khashm Dhibi area (Aramco S-1046), which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
