Type specimen: SM F10797, a shell. Its type locality is Locality 18, Juraifa area (Aramco S-1484/1499), which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
