Type specimen: UNIPAMPA PV317P, a partial skeleton (almost complete skull with attached lower jaws and unprepared postcranium). Its type locality is Boqueirão farm, Catuçaba, which is in a Wordian/Capitanian terrestrial sandstone in the Rio do Rasto Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: herbivore
Distribution: found only at Boqueirão farm, Catuçaba
