Type specimen: GSC 35077, a valve (dorsal valve). Its type locality is Virgin Arm, which is in a Darriwilian carbonate limestone in the Cobbs Arm Formation of Canada.

• Ordovician of Canada (1: Newfoundland), the Russian Federation (1)
