Type specimens:
- Ganolytes aratus: Stanford University Paleontology Type Collection 600, a skeleton. Its type locality is Lompoc Quarry, which is in a Tortonian basinal (siliciclastic) diatomite in the Monterey Formation of California.
- Diradias fenestralis: 759.
Distribution: found only at Lompoc Quarry
