Type specimen: IVPP V 23296, a partial skeleton (incomplete left premaxilla with three teeth, incomplete right premaxillae with four teeth, snout and part of the orbital region with the maxilla on both sides f). Its type locality is Dalongkou anticline, bed 40, which is in a Changhsingian terrestrial mudstone in the Guodikeng Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Dalongkou anticline, bed 40
