Type specimen: MfN MB.C.2840. Its type locality is Ryan Quarry, south of Ada, which is in a Famennian marine shale in the Woodford Shale Formation of Oklahoma.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Ryan Quarry, south of Ada
