Type specimen: VNIGRI 115/2186. Its type locality is Irganay, Dagestan (lower Tsudakhar Fm, subfurcatum zone), which is in a Subfurcatum marine horizon in the Tsudakhar Formation of the Russian Federation.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Irganay, Dagestan (lower Tsudakhar Fm, subfurcatum zone)
