Belongs to Diacalymene according to B. D. E. Chatterton and R. Ludvigsen 2004
Sister taxa: Diacalymene consimilis, Diacalymene gabrielsi, Diacalymene schucherti, Dekalymene crassa
Type specimen: GSC 122416, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is AN78, which is in a Telychian open shallow subtidal shale/limestone in the Jupiter Formation of Canada.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Silurian of Canada (4: Quebec collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
