Type specimen: PIN 2465/980, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Karatau-Karabastau (PIN collection 2465), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
Distribution: found only at Karatau-Karabastau (PIN collection 2465)
