Type specimen: EUIC 13282, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dizlu section, upper Jamal Formation, which is in a Wordian open shallow subtidal wackestone in the Jamal Formation of Iran.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Dizlu section, upper Jamal Formation
