Type specimen: MPEF-PI 1001, a hindwing. Its type locality is Laguna del Hunco: quarry LH25, which is in a Ypresian crater lake siliciclastic in the Huitrera Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Laguna del Hunco: quarry LH25
