Type specimen: NM 190-27-1217, a partial shell (a large nodule split to reveal an imperfect carapace). Its type locality is Stone Ridge, near the Harwich harbour, which is in a Ypresian marine siliciclastic in the London Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Stone Ridge, near the Harwich harbour
